Gave it 5 stars on Yelp. Great food, great service. Owners and locals treated me like royalty. Great beer, burnt ends and ribs for dinner. Not from area but treated great. One local even picked up dessert (maple burbon ice cream) which was fantastic. Rush over and try them today

I have been to Bootleggin’ on multiple occasions and every time it has been a pleasant experience. It is my favorite place to get wings in the downtown area. The pork tacos are also very good. Our server has been Jabari each time. He is very attentive and kind when taking our order each visit.

My husband and I searched BBQ joints in MO, and Bootleggin BBQ appealed to us just because of the name. He’s a huge fan of BBQ pork and me, not so much. We stopped in on 6/19/2016 on our way back home to Wisconsin from Louisiana. We were immediately impressed with the place because of Jen, the bartender/waitress. She was so welcoming and very knowledgeable with all the different choices on the menu and was honest with what she did and didn’t like. She asked if we were locals and explained just about all the food choices on the menu. We ordered Porky’s Party Nachos, which were absolutely amazing! I ordered Pigs In A Dilla, and I LOVED it. My husband ordered Spare Ribs and Burnt Ends and equally loved it. The BBQ sauce is probably the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to when I’m able to order it and have shipped to WI. Thank you for such great service, Jen! We most definitely will stop in their again the next time were down that way.
